The King of Heavy Duty: Trunk 2.0 features a full quad leg frame design with front vertical legs for extra strength. In addition Trunk uses cross-brace frame hubs at the front and both sides for greater torsional stability and increased load bearing capacity. The steel frame is heavy duty 22mm diam mild steel, anchored to solid cast alloy feet. Combined with double layer durable 600D Oxford fabric the overall chair design and structure is bulletproof.
200kg Load Rating: Trunk 2.0 has a best in class load capacity of 200kg. It's built to take a load. It's a chair you can load up with a proper fully grown adult, or maybe even a party for two, you do you.
Solid Alloy Feet: Solid cast alloy feet are a rare feature, only found on the best hi-end camp chairs. They provide significant additional strength and durability as the key join points that take the concentrated load of the frame. An often overlooked critical component that sets a true heavy duty camp chair apart.
Internal Reinforcement: Trunk 2.0 has internal third layer RipStop reinforcement patches at key load points, adding strength and arresting the stretching of the fabric as it moulds to your shape, preventing deformation. Seam stitching is also extended for greater join strength.
Arm Rest Strap Adjusters: Addresses arm rests annoyingly slowly sliding down their rear mounts leaving them in an uncomfortable position. Strap adjusters allow you to set the arm rest height to your exact preference and provide extra strength by securing the arms to the frame.
Stubby Holder & Wine Glass Holder: Yeah sure, heaps of camp chairs have a stubby holder, but have a closer look and you'll see most are a flimsy mesh that tears and breaks. Ours are fully lined and insulated, welded into the seam for strength. And for a touch of class Trunk also features a stemmed wine glass holder, perfect for holding that cheeky Shiraz. The PVC mount is attached to the frame so it's secure and there's no risk of spilling your glass when you get a bit over excited.
Bottle Opener: What's the point of getting up to find a bottle opener? We've included a quality cast alloy one, attached with reinforced tab and elastic cord. You're welcome.
Side Storage Compartment: Hanging from the left hand side of the chair is a storage organiser with several pockets to keep things stashed and separated like phone, wallet, keys, sunscreen, snacks or whatever else you like to roll with. There's no 'cooler'; if you've ever tried to store drinks in a camp chair 'cooler' on a hot summer day you'll know yeah nah, it doesn't work. Try using an Esky, or drink faster.
Rear Storage Pocket: On the back of the Trunk is large storage pocket for extra space, ideal for storing away the carry bag whilst the chair's in use.
Premium Padding: When sitting for long periods your arse needs padding. Trunk 2.0 features upgraded premium padding in the headrest and seat to offer better support. Combined with the extra back height and width of Trunk this means you'll have no trouble falling asleep in it. The quilted white pin-striping also means you stand out from the crowd and everyone will know that your Tuff Arse Trunk camp chair is better than theirs.
RipStop Carry Bag: Trunk 2.0 comes in a RipStop heavy duty carry bag. The RipStop fabric provides excellent tear resistance, and together with the easy access double zippered design means packing and unpacking your chair is less of a pain and provides protection for your Trunk when in storage.

- MMMinnie M.Verified BuyerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 starsMay 13, 2026Great Camp Chairs (just not for short legs)
These chairs are very well made and good quality. They are built tough for the Australian bush conditions. Wide seat is good for those built for comfort not speed 😂 The only downfall is that they are a bit high off the ground for those adults with short legs (160cm tall). But the benefits outweigh this problem. Worth the investment.

- MNMike N.Verified ReviewerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 starsMay 7, 2026Good Width
I love these traditional style camp chairs but haven't been able to find a good one, as most of them cut into the back of your legs and aren't high enough. This Trunk extra width is perfect for my big legs and the higher head rest support means your head so it doesn't snap back, it’s a really well made chair!

- BEBrendan E.Verified ReviewerI recommend this productRated 5 out of 5 starsJan 22, 2026Best i've Had
I've had a lot of camp chairs over the years. We’ve been full time on the road for over ten years now and have gone through a fair few, I've tried the more compact ones, but keep coming back to a traditional big, comfortable, heavy duty chair. Problem is even then they don’t last long. I got a Trunk over a year ago now and it's still going strong. Am extremely impressed with the build quality, comfort and built in features. It's a well thought out and made chair
