As Good as it Gets: We visit a lot of camping expos and talk to our customers about what their dream camp chair looks like. So, we listened and we designed it. 'Lightweight', 'strong' and 'super compact' were at the top of the list. The fourth criteria though was more compelling 'good for posture / back support'. After that, we decided to add some features for ourselves 'durability' and 'sustainability'. The result is Sling Shot, the best ultralight compact director's chair on the market!

Recycled PET Canvas: Sling Shot canvas is 100% recycled, made from post-consumer PET plastic bottles - or rubbish that would have otherwise gone into landfill and the ocean. Each chair contains around 86 plastic bottles. This matters to us. Our R PET canvas is certified through peak global body The International Textile Exchange. It’s the real deal. Compact Folding Aluminium Frame: The Sling Shot frame is formed from hi-tensile 6063 Aluminium. It's a high grade Aluminium that delivers a weight saving of about 50% over steel, yet still provides greater tensile strength. The compact folding design is superbly engineered with superior hardware, which makes the Sling Shot best in class for weight capacity, folded size & weight, as well as strength & rigidity. The frame automatically locks into place when set up maintaining excellent lateral stability on uneven surfaces, and the annodised Aluminium and stainless steel rivets make the frame structure immune to the possibility of rust.

150kg Load Rating: Sling Shot has a class leading load capacity of 150kg, yet it's total packed weight is also a best in class of only 4.5kgs. It's a Tuff Arse camp chair!

Padded Ergonomic Design: The R PET canvas with our unique Tuff Arse padding and quilted design means the seat does not deform or sag under wear, and provides proper lumbar support for your back. Sling Shot is a true 'all day' chair. If you have spinal or posture issues (or want to avoid getting them) then Sling Shot is made for you. In addition, the carry bag fits into the back of the chair to provide even more lumbar support and warmth. Sling Shot is made to suit heights from about 5'2" - 6'3".

Side Table with Drink Holder: Yes, Sling Shot is a super compact fold up, but it still includes a side table. Sturdy and self locking, the table gives you somewhere to put a plate of food and a drink other than in your lap. When you’re sitting around a camp fire in the dark trying to balance a plate of food with a glass of shiraz this comes in real handy. The drink holder suits a coffee mug, wine glass or stubby, or even one of those big fat Yeti things.

Side Storage Compartments: An often overlooked feature that's rarely found on competitor chairs, because it adds to production cost! Tuck away your valuables in multiple side storage compartments to keep your phone out of the sun, store your wallet, keys, sunnies and any other stuff out of sight. The pockets hang from the left hand side of the chair and are velcro removable if you want to swap to the other side.

Integrated Carry Handle: The integrated carry handle is built into the back of the chair for easy transportation. The same handle is used when the chair is packed away as it pops through the top of the carry bag.

Rigid Arms: The frame design allows for rigid arm rests, meaning they can take your full weight getting in and out of the chair. In addition, the arms are padded for comfort. Being able to place weight on the arms eliminates a common failure point of chair design, also ideal if you’ve had to many frothies and are a bit wobbly on your feet :)

Rear Storage Pocket: Sling Shot has a large elastic storage net behind the back rest
, designed to stow away the carry bag whilst the chair's in use so it doesn't blow away, and to provide additional lumbar support.

Bottle Opener: Sling Shot comes with the signature Tuff Arse cast alloy bottle opener, because who wants to get up to open a drink?

Heavy Duty Carry Bag: Sling Shot comes in a PVC lined heavy duty carry bag. The internal PVC lining of the bag protects your chair when packed away and means you can easily hose it out if it gets filthy. The bag fits into a mesh pocket on the back of the chair whilst in use.

Style: It’s a Tuff Arse and yes, it will cause camp chair envy amongst others.
